I was born in Artvin in 1970. I graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. In 2012, I received the title of gastroenterology specialist from Ankara Başkent University Gastroenterology Clinic. Between 2014 and 2021, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine. I have been serving in my own office since June 2021.

Frequently Asked Questions Gastroenterology is a branch of science that studies the functioning and diseases of the digestive system. The digestive tract from the mouth to the anus, the liver, bile ducts, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen are within the scope of gastroenterology.
Gastroenterologists receive an additional subspecialty training on top of their internal medicine main specialty training. Therefore, they have more knowledge, experience and competence in their field.
